MOUNTAIN PLAINS REPRESENTATIVE

POWERS AND DUTIES

􀂃 To represent the Arizona Library Association at meetings of the Mountain Plains Library

Association at association expense.

􀂃 To serve a three-year term as a voting member of the Executive Board.

􀂃 To act as a two-way liaison between the MPLA Executive Board and the AzLA’s

Executive Board.

􀂃 To respond to requests for information from MPLA and promote MPLA membership

within Arizona. Provide the MPLA Newsletter Managing Editor and the Public

Relations Committee with library news of the state.

􀂃 Actively assist the MPLA Conference Chair, if an annual Conference is to be held in the

represented state.

􀂃 To prepare a report of the year’s activities to be included in the Association’s annual

report.
